Your Main Library
Help us understand how a main library building can best serve your rapidly evolving needs.
Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is listening to and working with our local community, partners and funders to envision the role of the Main Library in Oakland in a fast-evolving city and region.
In order to ensure that our work addresses the needs of our community, we have enlisted the assistance of consulting firm brightspot to help us engage our users and develop experimental strategies for making sure this historic building continues to serve the ever-evolving needs of the Pittsburgh region.
This exercise in design thinking and rapid prototyping will take place from January to June, 2018. This page will document our process.
