The Social Work in Libraries Program is a partnership between the Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA), the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work, and CLP. This fellowship runs through the Fall and Spring semesters (September through April 2025), matching Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) students with ACLA libraries to assist with community social service needs.
Social Work Fellowship interns will engage in activities that include but are not limited to: community outreach and assessment; information and referrals to human service resources; support and assistance for individual patrons and library staff; and program development and implementation.
We are very excited to welcome our new students and continue the Social Work in Libraries Program!
