Kick off Summer Party Season

Summer means many things: longer days, (hopefully) plenty of sunshine, and many occasions to gather with loved ones. Whether we are celebrating holidays, graduations, or just the weekend, there is no shortage of reasons to come together. A Special Election Year in Allegheny County

A Special Election will be held on April 5, 2022 to fill two seats in the PA General Assembly for the 19th and 24th Legislative Districts. These seats were previously held by Ed Gainey and Jake Wheatley, and were left vacant when Ed Gainey became Mayor of Pittsburgh, and Jake Wheatley was selected as his Chief of Staff.


Medical Discrimination

Black History Month 2022 celebrates Black Health & Wellness. The National Museum of African American History and Culture says this year’s theme “highlights Black pioneers’ trailblazing contributions to Western medicine, addresses health disparities facing our communities, and encourages healing through education.”
