Terrific Titles for Toddlers

Each year a committee selects the Best Books for Babies. And every year those of us on the committee see a lot of great books that don’t quite fit the criteria

Some just aren’t very good—or not quite good enough. But some of them are great. They just aren’t a good fit for our intended audience of babies birth to 18 months. So, this year we decided to share a list of our favorite books for toddlers, found along the way in our Best Books for Babies’ deliberations.

These aren’t the only terrific toddler titles, of course. You can find other good choices here–or ask your friendly local librarian for their favorites.

Happy reading!
