Snappsy is a big, mean alligator who loves eating things that start with the letter P, or, at least according to the narrator, he does. In truth, Snappsy is just a regular guy who has his grocery shopping to do and who is just feeling a little thirsty. He doesn’t want to be in the book and he most certainly doesn’t want to be followed around by some crazy narrator, who isn’t even a very good narrator, describing everything he sees. Snappsy the Alligator is a funny book for kids aged 4 through 8 that allows the characters to break the fourth wall. The illustrations are playful and the concept is imaginative – a book Mom and Dad will enjoy as much as the kids!
