Alabama 1956. The rumors and whispers began when Anna Nassad, invited the first African-American postman into her home for a drink of water. Days later, Anna wakes to find her abusive husband dead after a night of rage and terror. As suspicions around Anna’s husband’s death mount, she is faced with having to confront her secrets and reconcile the relationships she has with those closest to her.
