PA One Book 2019

For the past 14 years, Pennsylvania has celebrated the importance of early literacy development in young children through its One Book, Every Young Child initiative. The One Book program encourages families to bond through books and reading while engaging children in conversation and other activities around books.  It also highlights the importance of reading early and often to young children.

BLAST Outreach Update

The BLAST team has had an exciting start to the 2018-2019 school year! This year, participation has increased to include a total of 31 Pittsburgh Public Elementary Schools. Students in participating schools have found themselves learning everything from pre-coding concepts through gameplay to new vocabulary through movement.
