Online Resources for Teachers & Students

With schools closed right now, it’s important to know that the library has many resources to help with online learning. Students can explore our expanded World Book Online collection. We now have access to World Book platforms for the youngest of learners through to high school-aged student. All of the Gale in Context resources are helpful for research or essay writing. Gale in Context: Research for Middle School is geared specifically for middle school students. Looking for science or STEM projects? Science Online has diagrams, science experiments, biographies about famous scientists, science learning modules, as well as curriculum tools for students and educators. If  students are working on book reports, BookFlix and TrueFlix have great read along books for younger readers, and our OverDrive and hoopla collections are filled with eBooks and eAudioBooks for all levels of readers – beginning readers through teens.

To access all of this and more, you and your students just need a library card. If you don’t have a library card, you can visit our Library Catalog to register for a card online.
