We understand if you’re missing your visits to the Library right now. We miss you too! We wish we could all be learning together, but since our librarians are at home too, we’re sharing some of our storytime and reading favorites so you can enjoy them at home with your family. 

Our Rhyme Time videos feature storytime songs with librarians, children and families singing together. They can be a great way to bring the Library inside your home right now.  

These videos for caregivers of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers each include an introduction video that talks about early literacy. We also have a video series of Spanish-language favorites too!

Hoopla is chock full of picture books and read-alouds that can easily be checked out with your library card straight to your device. Here you’ll find many of your child’s favorite authors, characters, and discover new titles to read together. (Need to know how it works? Click here.) 

BookFLIX connects stories and facts by pairing two books together for tons of reading fun. Watch books come to life, listen as books are read aloud, or read on your own.  

OverDrive/Libby gives you access to even more pictures books and read along titles for young children with your library card. You can also discover activity books and parenting resources to help stretch your creativity during this time. (You can see Libby in action and get instructions here.)
