OUTSIDE THE LIBRARY EXPERIENCES
Library staff visit your organization to share information, books or present a program. Depending on your organization’s needs and the age group(s) you serve, there are a variety of services we can offer—subject to staff availability. WHO: Early Learners (ages 0-5) and their Caregivers
WHAT: Early Learners and their caregivers will explore action rhymes, songs and stories in this 20-30 minute program. Designed to strengthen early literacy skills and foster a love of reading.

Pittsburgh Ready Literacy Workshops
WHO: For Parents, Educators and Caregivers of Early Learners (ages 0-5)
WHAT: Participants will learn practical strategies related to various topics impacting early literacy development. 1- and 2-hour versions of each course are available. Participants can receive PQAS credits if desired. Workshops include:Every Child Ready to Read

Community Scan Day
WHO: Adults
WHAT: Participants will be able to preserve their family and local history by scanning photographs, letters, documents and more with a portable library scanner.
