If you have a suggestion for an item for CLP’s Library of Things please submit your request via the Suggest a Purchase feature in the online catalog. CLP reviews all purchase suggestions; however, not all suggestions are  approved. Please review our Collection Development policy.

Please note – CLP is not accepting Library of Things donations at this time. You can learn more about donations via our policy here.

Most Library of Things materials are portable and can be transported without special considerations. However, some materials are of a considerably larger size and/or weight and may require additional planning when picking up. Currently these items include:

• Giant Connect Four – This item is 4×4 feet and comes in a large duffle bag
• Stepping Stones – These items come in a large duffle bag
• Cornhole – This item contains two 2×3 feet wood components and comes in a large duffle bag
• Axe Throw & Lawn Darts – This item comes in a large bag

Borrowing policies for CLP’s Library of Things follow our current guidelines. The Borrowing policy can be located here. In case of loss or damage, contact our customer service team via phone/email/chat to discuss options or stop into your neighborhood CLP location.

Authors or publishers wishing to bring an item to our attention should follow the Author and Publisher Submission Guidelines.

Selection decisions are made in accordance with the criteria outlined in this policy.
