IN PERSON HOMEWORK HELP AND TUTORING (Grades K-8)
Need help with homework? Looking for tutoring for reading or math? CLP is here to help. Just stop by one of six CLP locations and a tutor will be available to help with homework or provide tutoring for reading, math or both. No registration is required. Students can meet with a tutor just once or every week. Tutoring is being facilitated by Catapult Learning in partnership with Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
In person tutoring is available for grades K-8 from January 24 – March 16, 2023 at the following:
- Carrick, Wednesdays, 4:00-6:00 pm
- East Liberty, Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:30 pm
- Hill District, Tuesdays, 4:30-6:30 pm
- Homewood, Tuesdays, 4:30 – 6:30 pm
- Sheraden, Wednesdays, 4:30 – 6:30 pm
Didn’t bring homework to the library? No problem! Students are welcome to work on their reading and math skills with the help of a tutor.
VIRTUAL TUTORING FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS
Participation is on a first-come-first served basis and registration is required. Each tutoring session is one hour. Students will attend the full session each week in the series. Tutoring is being facilitated by Catapult Learning in partnership with Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
VIRTUAL Reading Tutoring Sessions via Zoom
This virtual group tutoring program is an 8-week (January 23 – March 13, 2023) session focused on Reading Skills. This will be an engaging skill building opportunity for students who need assistance to boost their reading skills.
