Quiet Reading Party

July 13 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free
A diverse group of adults sitting together around a small table with refreshments, smiling and holding open books.

Been having a hard time carving out time to read AND be social? Why not treat your s(h)elf to both? You’re invited to the party where you’re encouraged to read and discuss what you’ve read with other bibliophiles along with an assortment of free coffee, tea, and pastries available to help fuel your reading stamina.

2-2:30pm – arrive at the party, find a spot to read, grab a snack or drink, chat with other readers at the party about what you’re reading, and/or find a book if need be (library staff are available to recommend something).

2:30-3:30pm – quiet reading, cozy up and get lost in a book.

3:30pm-4pm – break and chat with other readers about what you’ve read, make a button, and get rewards for reading by signing up for Summer Reading and logging books you’ve read!

This program takes place in the Quiet Reading Room on the 1st floor.
