An adult and young child read together from a laptop on a table covered with pencils and papers

LDA of PA presents Early Literacy Tutoring for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade (ages 5 and older) who live in the Hill District. Tutoring occurs twice a week on Monday and Wednesday at the CLP – Hill District Branch. Students can attend both Monday and Wednesday sessions to make significant progress in their literacy skills. Pairing up to four students per tutor and utilizing Wilson Fundations, this program teaches reading, spelling, and handwriting in fun, interactive, and multisensory ways. The curriculum includes sight words, sound mastery, letter formation, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, reading comprehension, the alphabetic principle, and more.

Registration is required. Once a student has registered, LDA of PA will respond via email or phone to enroll the student in the appropriate class.
