Join us for an Envisioning a Just Pittsburgh Slam Poetry/Spoken Word event, on Thursday, March 20th from 6pm-7pm, at CLP-Main (4400 Forbes Ave) in the Graphic Novel Room. The writers from Envisioning a Just Pittsburgh will present some of their poems and works from the show, and we encourage others to sign up to read their poetry as well (sign-up sheet will be present 20 minutes before the show for anyone who would like to participate)! Meet the writers of EJP, enjoy snacks and small bites, and peruse the Gallery where EJP written pieces will be on display. Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is excited to celebrate this collaborative partnership with Carnegie Museums, Pitt, 1Hood and August Wilson African American Cultural Center. Registration encouraged. Walk ins welcome.
