Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Announces Annual Public Meeting to Discuss Strategic Progress and Future Plans

Pittsburgh, PA  –   – 

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh (CLP) is proud to share the progress made in the first year of its ambitious 5-year Strategic Plan, having successfully achieved 20% of its key priorities. To celebrate these accomplishments and engage with the community, the Library’s Board of Trustees invites all members of the community to attend its annual public meeting. This event will offer an opportunity to reflect on the Library’s achievements, learn more about the ongoing Strategic Plan, and honor the efforts of Library advocates who have contributed to this vital work.

WHEN:                      Monday, March 3 | 6 – 8 pm

WHERE:                    Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Main (Oakland), South Wing Reading Room, 4400 Forbes Avenue, 15213

This event will also be livestreamed.

Board leaders and staff will highlight key accomplishments from the past year and share plans for 2025 during the meeting. The agenda will feature a discussion with the Library’s Board of Trustees, an open forum for public questions and comments, and the announcement of the 2024 Advocates of the Year award recipients. Light refreshments will be served following the meeting.

While registration is not required, community members are encouraged to submit comments or questions in advance via the online form at carnegielibrary.org/event/annual-public-meeting.
