Summer Reading 2024: Teen Titles
CLP is pleased to announce this year’s Summer Reading Theme: READ-A-PALOOZA BOOK BOWL! Inspired by the 2024 Olympics, each CLP branch’s community competes in this summer-long program to see who can read the most books! Which neighborhood will be Pittsburgh’s next reading champion? Take a Father to School Day 2024
Pittsburgh Public Schools will be celebrating Take a Father to School Day on May 17th. This annual event invites students to bring a supportive male figure with them to school for the day. The theme this year is “Thriving Fathers: Enhancing Nutritional, Physical, and Mental Health.” Here are some books that celebrate fathers, uncles, and other positive male role models in children’s lives.
