CLP staff is here to support you both in-person at our neighborhood locations and virtually.

You can also contact us at info@carnegielibary.org, call us at 412-622-3114, chat us through our website or stop by your closest CLP location to schedule an appointment with a library staff.
ASL and language interpreters are available upon request. To make your request, please contact the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh location providing the appointment you are booking. We ask that you notify us at least two weeks in advance.

Business Support
Library staff can help you navigate getting started as an entrepreneur or launching your small business by providing access to research resources and quality assistance. Check out our Help for Business webpage to learn more about our available resources. Business support through appointments can include:

- Obtaining funding for your small business
- Industry research, client lists, demographics, and marketing

Digital Skills Support
Library staff can help you learn how to get started on using a computer, access CLP eResources on your personal device, and how to navigate available software on our computers. Digital skill support through appointment can include:
- Learn how to use a mouse and keyboard
- How to sign up for an email account
- How to find information online or navigate a website
- How to access and use Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint
- How to download and use Libby and Hoopla on your smartphone, tablet, or eReader

Job and Career Support

Our archivist and our rare book specialist can provide access to view requested archival materials, or to view requested rare books and special collections material available to the public for research purposes.
