Aven Green is a confident and quirky middle school student who loves soccer, hates mint chocolate chip ice cream and, oh yeah… doesn’t have arms, which is no big deal. But when Aven’s parents relocate to Arizona and she has to start over at a new school, her “lack of armage” suddenly becomes a big deal.

Enter Connor, who knows how it feels like to be treated differently, too. Connor has Tourette’s syndrome. Sometimes he barks or spits food at people, and he can’t control it.

Aven and Connor find mystery and intrigue at Stagecoach Pass, a rundown amusement park with a Wild West theme. Together they unravel the park’s dark secrets, finding confidence and friendship in one another along the way.
