Marc Brown is the Managing Partner at ABR Ventures, a growth and venture capital firm focused on early stage technology and consumer products ventures.

Marc was most recently the Chief Information Officer of Polyconcept, the world’s largest supplier of corporate and promotional merchandise, operating on five continents and selling to over 100 countries around the globe.  In this role, he was responsible for global Information Technology strategy and business transformation.

Prior to joining Polyconcept, Marc was the Sr. Vice President Corporate Service Center and Chief Information Officer of Del Monte Foods Company, responsible for leading Shared Services improvement and delivery, including all Business Operations Transformation and Information Technology strategic planning, implementation, and support.

Before joining Del Monte, Marc worked in a variety of Information Technology positions for H. J. Heinz Company in their North America and Frozen Foods Divisions, where he held the top Information Management role in the corporation.

Marc began his career in a variety of consulting positions with Andersen Consulting.

Marc is the past Chair of the Grocery Manufacturers of America (GMA) Information Systems Committee, which comprises chief technology executives from its member companies – collectively representing annual U.S. sales of more than $500 billion.  He has served as President of the Jewish Community Center of Pittsburgh, as well as Trustee of the Jewish Healthcare Foundation.

Marc received his M.M., Marketing and Operations from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and his B.S., Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
