National Pet Month

May is National Pet Month! Let us ponder these creatures, those we bestow ever-changing nicknames and endless song parodies upon. How are they so cute? How are they so little? How are they the bestest babies in the whole wide world?  

Our pets bring us joy, support and companionship. Fluffy, feathery, scaly, or slimy. Pets enrich human lives. Over countless years, in countless ways, our animal friends have shaped human development. The following titles explore the unique interconnection we have with our pets.
