The Bold, Brave Bunny
After his brothers and sisters ruin his favorite alphabet book, Teetu the bunny has had enough of his big bunny family! When he sneaks off into the night, what he discovers is more marvelous than he ever dreamed.
Springtime makes me think of bunnies not only because of Easter but because this is the time of year when we start seeing rabbits around us. I love to take walks in the springtime, and I often see rabbits and their babies hopping around the neighborhood or in the local parks, nibbling on whatever suits their fancy.
This collection of tales uses bunnies as child stand-ins, placing them in a variety of situations. From being a middle child or collecting treasures with friends to facing fears such as being afraid of being eaten by a wolf or a bear, children will find comfort in the resolutions to these tales.
Springtime is also the perfect time to cuddle with your little one near a sunny window to share books and stories. Whether you want to read about bunnies or other creatures, plenty of books are ready and waiting for you at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
