The Big Book of Sherlock Holmes Stories
Eighty-three wonderful stories about Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, published over a span of more than a hundred years collected in one big book.
A few years ago I devoured the entirety of the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. When I read the last story I was hit with the realization that that was it. Sir Conan Doyle was dead and there would be no more stories about Holmes and Watson. Luckily I found many authors who would take up Doyle’s mantle and continue Sherlock’s adventures. One good book to start with for new Sherlock stories is The Whole Art of Detection: Lost Mysteries of Sherlock Holmes (Mar 2017) by Lyndsay Faye. It is a breath of Victorian Era London air. She perfectly captures the characters and the tone of the stories. I would highly recommend her to any Sherlock Holmes fan. Below I listed other new Sherlock stories to enjoy.
