Congratulations, Pittsburgh – you just read 90,000 books!
That’s a pretty big number–only slightly less than the number of tons of rice consumed in Saudi Arabia during Ramadan this year.
But you did it, and you streaked across the finish line a whole month before the end of Summer Reading!
To put it another way, you crushed it. Take a bow. Give yourself a pat on the back, Call up your friends who live on the other side of the country and brag a little!
Then again, I expected nothing less from the City of Champions. In fact, I bet you can crush it even harder before Summer Reading ends.
Now that you’ve crossed the 90,000 book barrier, it’s time to see how much more reading you can squeeze in before August 31.
All these options still count as reading, and can be added to your Summer Reading Log:
- Print books
- Ebooks
- Audio books and eAudio
- Magazines
- Graphic novels and comic books
- Books you read to a child
Read some books but just haven’t logged them yet? Now is the time!
Thank you for participating in this year’s Summer Reading Program. It’s a privilege to serve one of America’s most consistently literate cities.
Now let’s get back to the books. To 100,000 summer reads, and beyond!
