Pennsylvania Topographical Map Finding Aid
The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh maintains a collection of United States topographical maps (primarily 1:24,000) as well as topographical maps of some foreign locations. The library’s maps were published by the United States Geological Survey, the Defense Mapping Agency and/or the Pennsylvania Geological Survey over the past century. Library staff and volunteers have created an inventory and finding aid for the Pennsylvania topographic maps. For further information concerning these maps, or to make a research request to view a map, please see or contact a librarian (412 622-3175) in Reference Services on the second floor of Main Library.
