Jim O’Brien, Pittsburgh’s famous sports author, will discuss significant sports venues and events in the Oakland area, which was once the "playground" of Pittsburgh. Boxers fought here, and the Pirates, Steelers, Hornets, and our top college sports teams, all called Oakland home. O’Brien will share some of these exciting sports stories. Book signing to follow.
