Some Days I Feel...Yellow
In this program we will look into the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss and explore his book of colored emotions, titled: My Many Colored Days. Every time you turn a page in this book you are presented with a new color and a relative emotion. Students will observe rhyming and rhythmic poetry about colors as well as participate in a craft related to the story. Recommended for grades K-1.

We Got the blues
In this program we will be exploring the art of blues music. The main focus of this program will be to identify the rhythm and rhyme used in some blues songs. Students will also see how feelings play a BIG role in blues music. Students will have the opportunity to express their emotions through bluesy poems and a craft. Recommended for grades 2-3.

Poetry in Music...Over the Years
In this program we will be traveling through music over the years, and investigating how music and poetry are related to one another. From blues to swing, rock n' roll to hip hop, the students will travel down the musical timeline feeling, seeing and hearing the rythm of music that makes up American history. Recommended for grades 4-5.
