The Job & Career Education Center (JCEC) at CLP – Main hosts regular workshops on topics ranging from computer skills, resume development, nonprofit management, and getting a job. These courses are listed on our events calendar and change frequently.

Resume and Interview Preparation

Your resume is the most important tool in your job search, so make sure it meets current standards. Trained staff and volunteers at the Library can help you build a focused resume and prepare you for your next big interview. You can learn how to adapt your resume to any job search situation, and get advice on how to target your resume to specific job descriptions using keywords. Interview preparation is also available through our mock interview service at CLP –Main’s Job & Career Education Center. Schedule an in-person, phone or virtual mock interview to practice answering tough interview questions, learn strategies to prepare for an interview, answer questions and engage in a post-interview follow-up.
