North Hills Community Outreach (NHCO) is an interfaith nonprofit organization that addresses the spiritual, emotional, physical and material needs of people in crisis, hardship and poverty.
NHCO provides information and education, makes referrals and facilitates access to resources to bring immediate help in a manner designed to preserve the dignity of individuals and families.
Compassion Allegheny is NHCO’s nationally recognized training and technical assistance program. Focusing on three broad core competencies - Board Development, Staff Development, and Program & Resource Development - Compassion Allegheny provides grassroots organizations with customized one-on-one technical assistance, training, and organizational mentoring.
Compassion Allegheny works to increase your organization’s ability to address critical community needs and build key internal strengths continuously and effectively.
Through Compassion Allegheny, we will aid you in developing a technical assistance plan based on your organization’s needs and strengths. Custom technical assistance topics include:
