Fee Description: The Learning Lamp is a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency that specializes in providing support services for schools and educational organizations. We are experts in writing grants that are specific to education. Schools or organizations are able to contract with us on an hourly basis or purchase a larger number of hours at a discounted rate. The fees are as follows: $65 per hour, $6,000 for 100 hours, $11,000 for 200 hours. If a client chooses to contract for a larger number of hours, there is no expiration date.

In addition to grant writing services, The Learning Lamp offers communications support including press releases, internal and community newsletters, web content, brochures and calendars, strategic counsel, crisis communications, communications audits and event/conference planning.

Mission/Statement of Purpose:

The Learning Lamp's mission is to provide students and schools the support they need to increase academic achievement. In 2006, our agency won more than $2.5 million in state grants for schools including a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant, a Classrooms for the Future technology grant, a PDE Career and Guidance grant, and several private foundation grants. We are also experienced with the DCED K-12 and PreK tax credit programs that provide additional dollars for schools and nonprofits working in the field of education.

Our team has more than 50 collective years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, communications and event planning.

Additional Information


The Learning Lamp also works with schools and community based organizations to build tutoring and afterschool programs, childcare centers and preschools. We are a Pennsylvania Department of Education approved ClassroomPlus, EAP and SES tutoring provider.
