Radioactive Wolves: Chernobyl's Nuclear Wilderness

Tuesday, April 23, 2013
12:15 PM
DVD, 60 Minutes

More than twenty-five years after the disaster at the nuclear power plant at Chernobyl, an 1100 square mile zone is still uninhabited by humans. In the interim, forests, marshes, fields and rivers have reclaimed the land, returning everything to its natural state. In the absence of people, this dead zone has become populated by a wide range of animals and ruled by wolves. Presented by PBS.
