Books in the Afternoon: Snow

Join us for lively discussions of contemporary fiction. This month's selection is Snow by Orhan Pamuk. Discussions will be held in the Large Print Room on the First Floor from 1-2 PM and again from 6-7 PM.

After years of lonely political exile, Turkish poet Ka returns to Istanbul to attend his mother's funeral and learns about a series of suicides among pious girls forbidden to wear headscarves.
