Buddhism is one of the religious traditions that has traveled far and beyond inspiring the creation of a wide range of organizations and practices. University of Pittsburgh Religion Scholar Margarita Delgado will give a talk focusing on Naikan, a method of inner observation created by a Japanese Buddhist, Yoshimoto Ishin, drawing on Buddhist principles. He claimed that this method can help us understand the true nature of human existence by broadening our view of reality and thus enable us to attain enlightenment.
