Writers LIVE @ CLP - Main: Jacob Bacharach

Thursday, June 5, 2014
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Pittsburgh resident Jacob Bacharach discusses his debut novel, The Bend of the World, a coming-of-age story reminiscent of Michael Chabon's Mysteries of Pittsburgh. Set in modern day Pittsburgh, 29-year-old Peter Morrison gets pulled into a world that grows odder by the day and includes UFOs sightings, evil corporations, time-altering drugs and underground conspiracies. Author Dan Chaon called The Bend of the World," an audacious, hilarious and aptly surreal satire of the state of America in this new, uncanny century."

A book signing follows the program with copies of The Bend of the World available from Mystery Lovers Bookshop.

Registration is required. Please visit the link below for FREE tickets.
