WYEP's Alternative Souper Bowl : A Benefit for HEARTH

Sunday, February 2, 2014
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Join WYEP and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh for the 14th annual Alternative Souper Bowl, and help end hunger in your community. Please bring a non-perishable donation for HEARTH, a local shelter for displaced women and their children.

Guests will enjoy live broadcasted performances by local musicians, and all are welcome to check out these music-related activities:

For Kids: Zoo Beats Kiosk
WYEP, Electric Owl Studios and The Sprout Fund have created an innovative, interactive sound and music experience for young children. Kiosks in the Children's Department will let kids ages 2 through 5 easily experiment with sound creation and music making.

For Teens: The Labs Music-Making
Teens can experiment with a drum machine and learn about electronic music from The Labs. The Labs is Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's teen-only learning lab that provides teenagers with access to equipment, software, and mentors in an innovative learning environment with the focus on creativity and creation!
