This quarterly book group is certainly not your mother’s book club. Discussing literature from the margins and the extremes, we welcome those who are drawn to provocative and unconventional writing (actual rebellion optional).
No registration is necessary.
Discussions are held quarterly and meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Director's Conference Room on the First Floor of the Main Library.

Another Roadside Attraction is Tom Robbins' first novel. It follows the adventures of John Paul Ziller and his wife Amanda, who open "Captain Kendrick's Memorial Hot Dog Wildlife Preserve," a combination hot dog stand and zoo along a highway in Skagit County, Washington. Published 32 years before The Da Vinci Code, Another Roadside Attraction's cast of characters include a group of Catholic monks working as assassins for the Vatican, and L. Westminster "Plucky" Purcell, a former college football star and sometime dope dealer who discovers a secret of monumental proportions dating to the very beginning of Christianity.
