On a "dark and stormy evening," 350 people gathered at the Oakland mansion of philanthropist Mr. Drew Carnegie for a happy hour event to benefit his beloved library. During the live musical performance of Joy Ike, guided flashlight tours of the building, silent library chair auction and libations, a "terrible murder" was committed. Guests were invited to crack the case during a live action game of whodunit with help from characters from the popular murder mystery game of Clue.
THE WINNING ANSWER:
It was Mrs. White, in the Ballroom with a lead pipe!
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and guests more than $5,000 was raised to support library services.
