How YOU can help!
Any reduction to library funding is devastating for our community, especially at a time when people are using libraries more than ever before - relying on the Library to provide critical services such as summer reading, Internet access for unemployment applications and social service referrals.
There has never been a more important time to support Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh or to increase your involvement if you are already a contributor.
- Demonstrate your support by making a monthly gift through our Sustainer's Program. You can make a pledge or a gift through an automatic withdrawal from your bank account, by credit card or by setting up a payment through your automatic bill pay. Call 412.622.1873 for details or download the Sustainer's Form at www.carnegielibrary.org/support.
- Share your talents. Become a volunteer. The Library works closely with volunteers who assist with vital jobs. Call our Volunteer Department at 412.622.1015 to learn about volunteer opportunities at the Library for you or your group.
- Talk about the Library to everyone you know. Take part in our Community Conversation and public forums. Consider writing a letter to your local newspaper about the importance of funding an exceptional library system.
