Why read in the summer?

For Readers:

For Read-to-Me

You can be a child's reading hero by reading aloud to them. The earlier you start, the better! Even babies can look, listen and help turn pages.

For everyone:

Log the books you read from June 7 to August 31 to earn prizes, including a chance to win one of the grand prizes in the Library's end-of-summer drawing.

Find expertly selected books for each age group with these summer reading booklists:

Infants and Toddlers - Pre-K and Kindergarten - First and Second Grade - Third, Fourth and Fifth Grade
