Apple Computing Basics

Familiar with Windows computers and want to expand your repertoire? Are you interested in the buzz over Apple computers? This class will introduce you to using an Apple computer and its operating system, OS X, and prepare you to use our iMac computers. Prerequisite: This class assumes some knowledge of computers, so general computer experience with mousing and keyboarding, plus familiarity with Windows jargon, is helpful.

Keyboarding 1 and 2

New to typing or rusty in the fingers? This three-session class will cover basic typing skills, from finding your home keys in Keyboarding 1 to basic exercises in Keyboarding 2. Prerequisite: Computer Basics or basic mousing and keyboarding experience.
