Teen Lounge: One Good Thing Project

Thursday, June 12, 2014 | Other Dates
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Meet Emily Sciulli, the founder of the One Good Thing Project, and we'll teach you how to make your own One Good Thing notebook! (Lounge will be open from 3-6pm, One Good Thing Project activities will begin at 4pm.)

Emily says: "The One Good Thing Project is a community project that attempts to help individuals see the good that happens each day. Small notebooks are placed in public locations such as park benches, waiting rooms and office buildings, for anyone to take and use how they wish; some people have told me that they write in their notebooks, while others simply keep it in a place where they see it frequently throughout the day so they are reminded to be aware of the good parts of their day. The notebooks never need to be returned-- they are truly for others. However, if people would like to return them, they become part of the permanent collection."
